Saturday's Hytteplanmila was a success, with over 185 energetic runners crossing the finish line. The atmosphere among our group before, during, and after the race was very positive. Each participant took away their own personal experience from the event – many with outstanding performances, and all with valuable lessons learned.

You can find the Hytteplan stats from 2024-2016 here 📊. Our data and feedback suggest that many runners faced challenges, resulting in performances slightly their usual standards on this occasion. However, this is all part of the unpredictable nature of racing outdoor, and such fluctuations are to be expected from time to time.

What warms our hearts the most is the supportive vibe within the group; the welcoming atmosphere, openness, and support among the crew. We're deeply grateful to have shared this day with many of you. A double-decker bus full of fantastic running friends, enthusiastic cheers along the course, great conversations before and after the race, and a lovely AfterRun gathering – what more could one ask for? This event marked a worthy conclusion to an incredible running season for many of us!

Season Break
Many might be considering a well-deserved season break now or after the 3000m lightning edition⚡️/ Jessheim Winter Marathon. Our general advice is to take 2-3 weeks with reduced training - not a complete break. We will, of course, continue with our group training sessions, and everyone is warmly welcome to join!

SK Vidar coach and Kondis editor, Runar Gilberg, has written a great article (in norwegian) about the advantages and disadvantages of a season break. We recommend that you take a look at it: link

Have a great week <3
